After living in Lincoln, NM in the 1970s, he has bounced around Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, until moving back to Ruidoso in 2000 to raise his family. Black has been a solo performer and worked with many bands playing blues, rock, bluegrass, and honkytonk music. He and his wife, Deanna are often found busking Midtown Ruidoso with world music percussion and guitar.
I love playing and singing the Old Western tunes and country music from my childhood. It’s what I grew up with, and what I know best. I try to write songs that reflect that part of my life.”
Blake’s also worked as a horse-wrangler, journalist and wildlife documentary film maker. He currently writes songs for television and film with Island Hustle Publishing in Nashville, TN.

Michael Francis is an accomplished pianist who specializes in Latin Jazz. He owns his own record label and has been playing professionally since he was 16 years old.

Janis Diane Thomas is a singer-songwriter from the Northeast Texas area. A veteran English teacher, she enjoys performing with her acoustic guitar at wineries and restaurants on the weekends, especially combining traveling with playing. Besides originals, Janis Diane also performs covers of classic rock, traditional country, folk music, and blues. Her first album, titled Hackberry House, was released on Spotify and other platforms in 2021.

Set in the 1950s, RED is based on a series of real events. It is a searing portrait of an artist’s ambition and vulnerability as he tries to create a definitive work for an extraordinary setting, a brand new restaurant in New York City.

How much would you pay for a white painting? Would it matter who the painter was? Would it be art? As three men discuss the Art, discussion turns into a disagreement. The argument becomes less theoretical and more personal as they boarder on destroying friendship. The aftermath of action is taken, and its reaction affirms the power of their bonds.
